I considered pre-ordering. But seeing the cover made me want to wait for the paperback :(
Well, maybe the bad cover was compensated by the great writing. Or a stellar plot. I’m sorry, but if I were a librarian and were to sort the books in the library I work for, this’ll immediately go the self-help section. I do not mean this in a derogatory way. It’s just that at first glance, it sorts the book on a different category. Or is this an unpopular marketing ploy for books?
But it took years for Eugenides to come up with another book. So yeah, I admit I’m still excited for this.
